What you get

Two ways to work with us

01

Full Representation

We take over management of your case and deal with the Home Office on your behalf: advising on supporting documents, filing the online application, booking your appointment, drafting a legal representation letter and checking your evidence.

02

Checking Service

An alternative to full representation. We assess your eligibility, check your completed application form and supporting documents, and advise on any action needed before submission to the Home Office.

Estimated fees by application

Estimated legal fee ranges for our Full Representation package, depending on complexity.

British citizenship

Partner & spouse visas

Parents, children & dependent relatives

Private life & discretionary leave

Work visas & sponsor licences

On top of our fee

Disbursements

Costs payable to third parties, such as barristers, Home Office fees and experts. We handle payment on your behalf for a smoother process. There is no VAT on these.

Our fixed fee does not cover third-party charges such as Home Office application fees (subject to change), court fees or barrister fees. A highly experienced barrister, or our travel to attend meetings, hearings or interviews, may cost more.

£500 – £1,500
Barrister for court representation
£400 – £600
Skeleton arguments
£50 – £75
Interpreter, per hour + VAT
£500 – £3,000
Medical or expert report, if needed

What the fee covers

  • Discussing your circumstances and options throughout
  • Advice on the Immigration Rules and criteria
  • Reviewing and obtaining supporting evidence, including witness statements
  • Preparing and submitting your application
  • Advice on the outcome and any further steps

Submitting your application to the Home Office typically takes 1–4 weeks from instruction, depending on complexity and deadlines. Home Office processing times are outside our control.

The small print

  1. All prices are estimates for guidance only and are not a quotation. The final fee depends on the complexity and urgency of your case.
  2. Ranges reflect our Full Representation package. Fees for the checking service are quoted individually.
  3. Prices and disbursements are not subject to VAT as Bridgeway Solicitors is not VAT-registered.
  4. Your case is handled by a member of our team of qualified lawyers and experienced trainees specialising in immigration law, and we introduce them to you at the outset.
